Mac Virus- Do you have it?

Last week a new malware program began to spread to Mac computers.  Apple has released a security update and I would advise all of you to do a software update as soon as you can.  The malware spreads by being embedded in fraudulent websites and they attempt to have you download and install software (usually claiming to be Adobe Flash).  It then installs itself and gives control of your computer to the creators of the Malware.
If you want to see if you have it open up Terminal (you can find it by doing a spotlight search for terminal or going to Applications–> Utilities), and pasting these commands in:
defaults read /Applications/Safari.app/Contents/Info LSEnvironment
defaults read /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/Info LSEnvironment
defaults read ~/.MacOSX/environment DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES

If it says does not exist to all three, then you are fine, otherwise please remove it.  There are  instructions here:  http://www.f-secure.com/v-descs/trojan-downloader_osx_flashback_k.shtml
As a general policy for avoiding viruses and malware I would advise you to:  Only download and install software from trusted sources.
